In general principle the replacement will be on the same or similar topic with quality, available and price being approximately the same. There is one text book required for every topic shown above. A list which is updated from time to time is available on request, and will be provided on receipt of Course Application. A comprehensive list will also be added here shortly.


12.1 Certificate in New Testament Studies (SBS01)

Course length: 10 months approx. There are 47 assignments. The goal is five each month, with a minimum of three expected each month. This course must be completed within 18 months of commencement.

12.2 This course will take the student through every verse in the New Testament in the order in which they were written. The course will including some Memory verses exercises. This course is designed for those in Housegroup/cell group leadership, is ideal for part-time pastors, and every person who wants to really understand the New Testament. The goal is to upskill for effective personal and Bible-based ministry.

This unique course harmonises the Gospels so you study Jesus' life in a single chronological narrative. It places the Letters in the order in which they were actually written. You will read the entire New Testament and either answer summarising questions or summarise the book, a paragraph at a time. You will be led in an in-depth study of each book and apply it to your own life situation. And decide on verses to memorise from each book. You will know the New Testament when you have completed this study!


12.3 Diploma in Biblical Studies (SBS02)

Course length: 36 months approx.

There are 48 assignments. There are four semesters each year, with three subjects (each with 8 lessons) being covered each semester. Assignments will usually involve two test papers for each subject, for which there are deadlines. Year One's twelve subjects must be completed prior to commencing Year Two, and the same with Year Three. Through cross-crediting, this course could be a stepping stone to degree courses, but this is yet to be finalised at time of print.

This course should be completed within 36 months of commencement.
